Demo Document

This is a demo document to show some of the capabilities of the AmiWeb package. This is normal body text, whereas the title is a centered <H1> header. To see the different paragraph styles ensure that you have the status bar turned on (I'm not sure if you can turn it off anyway!) and move the cursor around the document. The paragraph style listed in the bottom left corner will change as you move about.
So some of the styles are:
  1. A numbered list
  2. Which counts each line
    1. and which can have another sub list
  3. When you return to the previous number list, the numbers continue!

To include an image all you do is press CTRL+SHIFT+I and add the URL Me! and you get a lovely picture of me!

To add a link you just type your text as normal then you go back and highlight the text you want linked, select Add HREF Anchor, type in or select the URL and hey presto you have a link.
There are also paragraph styles for block quotes:
I shouldn't quote this though if I were you! It isn't very interesting and unlikely to be of any use whatsoever!
Also:Program Code: For those who like shoving code in their Web pages. Yuk!
Not forgetting:
Preformatted text sections but this doesn't specify the width value that can also appear in the PRE definition.

Definitions are fun
You see you can type in the word you want to define
Hit return and enter the definition
Hit return again to enter another and
the corresponding description. Nice!

Apart from a few other bits and bobs like text styles which are supported there's italics accessed normally through amipro as is bold you can even do them both like this.

Comments can be added to the HTML document by adding notes into the AmiPro document like the one in the header and this one here. To edit the note simply double click on the box and an editor will appear. When you have finished simply close that window down.

Tables are the latest feature and here are a couple:

This is the table title
This is a table
Underline headers You can centre entries And you can right align them
Like this
Like This
This is the end

To centre a table, highlight it and select centre. Alternatively, you should be able to add ALIGN="CENTER" to the second footnote, but this doesn't work with NetScape 1.22.

So here's a centred table:
The whole table
is centred
A little table
centred in the viewer (I hope!)

Document times and dates can be added.

Well, I'll leave you to discover the rest, except to say, if you don't know how to change paragraph styles, all you do is click on the current style name at the bottom left of the AmiPro window and a list will come up and you just select the style you want.

Have Fun!
